“New Jersey’s most underfunded districts such as Chesterfield and Delran would receive huge bumps in state aid during the upcoming school year under lawmakers’ latest plan to revise the way the state divvies up billions in funding for public education. But some of the additional aid will come at the expense of a handful of districts that will lose large sums of their aid over the next seven years in order to help boost the underfunded districts. The aid to New Jersey schools is often crucial to funding school programs and plays a key role in determining how much property taxes homeowners must pay.”  Burlington County Times
